Description
❗️Package contains 5 seeds along with sowing and further cultivation instructions❗️
The African Baobab is one of the most unique and iconic trees in the world. The baobab produces a huge, thick, swollen trunk that can reach up to 28 m (92 feet) in circumference and a wide, spreading crown that remains bare during the dry season.
The African Baobab produces large, fragrant white flowers pollinated by bats, which then develop into large, rounded fruits with powdery pulp, traditionally used to prepare a lemonade-like drink. Another interesting fact is that this species lives from 500 to 1000 years! which is truly exceptional among plants.
The African Baobab grows best in a drier tropical climate; in our country (POLAND) this species is suitable only for indoor cultivation. In summer it can be placed outdoors in the garden, on the terrace or balcony. Additionally, this species is suitable for creating extraordinary Bonsai trees. The location should be sunny and sheltered from the wind.
