Bowie & Dick Test -

is a test card with a test substance placed between sheets of special paper, laminate, and foam.

This construction simulates critical conditions and allows verification whether the generated steam can reach every recess of the sterilized pack.

Instructions for use: after removing from the foil bag, place the test pack in the heated, empty sterilizer chamber and run a sterilization cycle lasting 3.5 minutes at 134 - 137 °C or start the Bowie & Dick program. After sterilization, remove the pack, wait for it to cool, then open and read the test result.

Effectiveness confirmation is the color change of the test sheet and additionally the indicator on the external label changing from yellow to black.
