1. Preparation and installation

• Insert 2 new AA alkaline batteries into the compartment at the back of the device (use only alkaline batteries).
• Screw the controller vertically onto the tap. Ensure the filter gasket is in place to prevent leaks.
• Connect garden hoses to the selected zones (A, B, C, or D).

2. Setting time and schedule

• Set time: Press the OK button until the arrow points to "TIME". Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the current time and confirm with OK.
• Select zone: Choose the zone (A, B, C, or D) you want to program.
• Set watering: For each zone set sequentially:

  START TIME: Time to start watering.

  HOW LONG: Duration of watering (from 1 second to 6 hours).

  HOW OFTEN: Frequency (every 1–23 hours or every 1–15 days).

⚠️ KEY USAGE GUIDELINES

Follow these rules to ensure your controller works reliably for many seasons:

• Correct mounting position: The device must operate only in a vertical position; horizontal or inverted mounting is prohibited.
• Frost protection: Operating temperature is from 5°C to 45°C. In case of freezing risk, turn off the device, remove batteries, drain water from tubes and store in a dry, closed space.
• Regular filter maintenance: Check and clean the inlet filter regularly under running water. This prevents flow blockage and ensures proper water pressure during irrigation.
• Battery replacement: Use only new alkaline batteries and replace immediately when the low battery icon appears on the screen.
• Housing cleanliness: Clean with a soft cloth only. Never use harsh chemicals or solvents that may damage the plastic.
• Damage warning: If the housing or any parts are damaged, immediately turn off the controller.

Does the controller increase water pressure?

➡️ No, the controller does not generate pressure - it requires adequate pressure from the tap.

What pressure is needed for operation?

➡️ Minimum pressure is about 0.5 bar, but higher pressure is recommended for best results. Operation may be limited or fail if pressure is too low.

Does the device reduce water pressure?

➡️ Every controller of this type slightly restricts flow, which is normal.

Can the controller be powered by a gravity-fed barrel?

➡️ No, forced pressure is required to open the valve properly - water from a barrel without a pump will not suffice. The device requires pressure between 0.05 MPa and 0.8 MPa (0.5 to 8 bars).

Is it suitable for drip irrigation?

➡️ Yes, it works well with drip irrigation systems.

Does the controller work with all sprinklers (e.g., pop-up sprinklers)?

➡️ For sprinklers requiring high pressure, performance depends on the installation and number of points, as the controller and water division may reduce efficiency.

Can I connect multiple sprinklers simultaneously?

➡️ Keep in mind that each additional sprinkler and the controller on the line cause natural pressure drop. Too many devices connected at once will weaken the stream and sprinklers may not pop up. The number of sprinklers you can connect depends on your water system's pressure and capacity.

Do I have to use all 4 zones?

➡️ No. Each of the four sections (A, B, C, D) is completely independent. You can connect just one hose to any outlet and program only that zone. The other outlets can remain unused - no need to buy extra plugs as valves open only when programmed.
