Handle strip microswitch tailgate Audi A3 8P1 03-13 8P4827574

Buyer review

“Unfortunately, I was disappointed because it did not fit well on the A4 B6 Avant tailgate. The problem was with the parts where the power supply runs; they protruded too much and it was impossible to screw the strip on without a large gap near the seal. I wanted to file it down a bit, but it wasn’t enough because the wires started to stick out, and I didn’t want to modify the tailgate. Eventually, I unscrewed the part with the wires and microswitch from the original strip and transferred it to this one, and it even fit, but this is not an option if someone’s microswitch has failed. I compared it with the currently cheapest strip on this auction site, which I later had to return, and it must be said that this one has much better sealing and a better hole for the bulb holder clip, because in the cheaper version only the bulbs from the set fit well, and others fell out or probably would have fallen out eventually when closing the tailgate. Here, it doesn’t look like that would happen.”
