TRW DOT 4 is a synthetic brake fluid formulated with corrosion inhibitors. Application: brake systems and hydraulic clutch systems. Recommended for all disc and drum brakes except systems requiring mineral-based fluids only. The product is based on polyalkylene glycol, glycol ether, and refining additives. TRW DOT 4 is compatible with fluids meeting specifications: FMVSS 116 DOT 4, DOT 3, SAE J 1703, SAE J 1704, ISO 4925. Like all brake fluids, it is hygroscopic and must be protected from moisture and replaced according to the system manufacturer's recommendations.
