Slowly and securely screw the mold lid on. Place the closed mold into a pot of water and start boiling. The cooking time depends on whether you want soft, medium, or hard-boiled eggs, and whether the egg was refrigerated or at room temperature. Remove the mold from the hot water by holding the lid handle and set it aside to dry and cool slightly. Unscrew the mold lid, then invert the mold over a plate with the bottom facing up and gently press the mold with your thumbs near the red edge to help the egg release from the mold :) If the egg does not come out easily because it was cooked a bit too long, you can insert a small spoon between the mold wall and the cooked egg and gently slide it around the egg, which will detach the egg from the silicone mold wall and allow it to come out easily :) Covering the pot with a lid shortens the egg cooking time.
