Description
Beeswax for candles, cosmetics, and pastes blocks 1x1 cm 100g W100K DIY Beeswax blocks 100 g for poured candles Natural beeswax in 10 x 10 mm blocks, intended for container candles and freestanding candles from molds. The product is 100% pure, additive-free, with a light yellow color and a delicate honey scent. The small block size facilitates measuring and speeds up melting. Why choose it? 10 x 10 mm block - easy weighing and faster melting than lumps or bars Composition: 100% beeswax, no additives or fillers Natural honey scent - the candle smells even without added fragrance oil Two candle-making uses: poured candles in glass and containers, and freestanding candles from silicone and metal molds Beyond candles: natural cosmetics (balms, creams, lip balms), wood pastes and impregnations, handicrafts Product specification Wax type: beeswax, 100% pure, additive-free Intended use: poured container candles and freestanding candles from molds Additional uses: cosmetics, wood impregnation and pastes, handicrafts Form: 10 x 10 mm blocks Weight: 100 g Melting point: 62-67°C Maximum heating temperature: do not heat above 85°C Color: light yellow, ranging from light to darker depending on filtration level Scent: natural, honey Symbol: W100K Instructions Measure blocks and melt them in a water bath or wax melter. Monitor temperature with a thermometer - do not heat wax above 85°C. If desired, add candle dye or fragrance oil and stir until fully combined. Adjust temperature and quantity according to the dye or oil manufacturer's recommendations. Pour into a container with a pre-fixed wick or into a silicone or metal mold. Pour slowly, stream along the container wall. Leave to fully solidify in a draft-free place and do not move the candle while cooling. Wait before test burning. Tips: Beeswax is harder than plant waxes, so it usually requires a thicker wick - check cotton and wooden wicks. Test each combination of vessel, wick, wax, and oil on a single piece before making a larger batch. For rolled candles, instead of pouring wax, you can use beeswax sheets. What to avoid: Overheating wax - exceeding 85°C may change the color and properties of the raw material. Melting directly on high heat without a water bath and thermometer control. Using too thin a wick - the candle may tunnel and not use all the wax. FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions Is this wax suitable for poured glass candles and molded candles? Yes. The manufacturer recommends both poured container candles and freestanding candles. Once solidified, the wax is quite hard and holds shape well, making it suitable for silicone and metal molds. What wick should I use? Beeswax is harder than plant waxes, so it usually needs a thicker wick than the same container filled with soy wax. Cotton and wooden wicks are used. The final size is always selected by testing, according to vessel diameter and additives. Why do different batches of wax vary in shade? The color of natural beeswax ranges from light to darker depending on the filtration level of the raw material. Shade differences between batches are a natural feature, not a product defect. What is the white bloom on the finished candle? A light bloom, called wax bloom, may appear on the surface of beeswax products over time. This is a natural characteristic of the material. The bloom can be wiped off with a soft cloth or gently warmed. Slight shrinkage of the wax during cooling is also natural.
