Hollyhock, known as malwa, is one of the most common plants often found in rustic gardens. Its popularity is due to beautiful, large flowers appreciated also by butterflies and bees. It has no major soil requirements, is easy to grow, and low maintenance – an ideal choice for beginner gardeners.

Sowing: sow in May-June into seed trays. At 18-22℃ germination takes 2-3 weeks. Transplant to permanent locations in September or April.
Spacing: 50-70 cm.
Height: approx. 200-250 cm.
Position: sunny, fertile and humus-rich soil.
Flowering period: from July to the end of August.
