This product helps prevent secondary infections from the mattress and other complications resulting from prolonged immobilization. HOW THE PRODUCT ACHIEVES THE INTENDED USE The quilted sheet, equipped with a waterproof and breathable membrane, effectively protects the mattress from moisture, dirt, and harmful factors while providing patient comfort. By protecting the mattress and isolating the patient, the product reduces infection risk and helps maintain high hygiene standards. USER The product is intended for patients who are bedridden long-term, immobilized, or have physiological disorders such as incontinence, regurgitation after eating or drinking, diarrhea, and excessive sweating. It is also suitable for situations requiring special care, such as the perinatal period, reflux, or accidental bed contamination, e.g., when using a bedpan or commode. Thanks to the waterproof and breathable polyurethane membrane, the sheet: • protects the mattress from: soaking by bodily fluids, moisture, and dirt; • facilitates drying if placed on a damp mattress; The quilted mattress protector has a sewn-in polyester mesh around the edges, finished with an elastic band that secures it to the mattress, ensuring the protector stays firmly in place and does not shift under the sheet when the patient sleeps, moves, or tosses due to pain. CONTRAINDICATIONS Do not use the product if allergic to any of its materials. If allergic reactions occur, such as redness, rash, itching, or swelling, discontinue use and consult a doctor. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE • Maintain according to the instructions on the label and tag. • To maintain high hygiene standards, wash at temperatures up to 90°C. • Dry flat. • Do not bleach. • Do not dry clean. • Do not tumble dry. • Do not iron or press. • Store in a dry place, away from moisture, extreme temperatures, and direct sunlight to prevent deterioration of its properties. WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDED PRECAUTIONS • Do not use in direct contact with open wounds. • The product serves as an aid and should not be used as the sole method to prevent pressure sores, infections, or other complications related to prolonged immobilization. Additional preventive measures are necessary. • Use of the product does not replace other preventive measures such as regularly changing the patient's position or using appropriate care products. • Do not use the product if permanently soiled, damaged, or if its physical properties have changed in a way that may affect safety. • The product is not intended for sterilization. • Modifications to the product's construction are prohibited. • Use the product only according to the instructions for use. • Keep this instruction and the label attached to the product for future reference. PRODUCT DISPOSAL Used product must be disposed of according to applicable medical waste and environmental protection regulations. It should not be discarded with general municipal waste, especially if used in medical applications and may pose microbiological, chemical, cytostatic hazards, or contain hazardous secretions.
