The mechanism offered in our auction contains all accessories needed to sew a Roman blind. The set includes: A complete aluminum rail equipped with a control bead and cords for lifting the fabric (the number of cords is shown in the table below); 5 plastic ribs (additional ribs can be purchased in our other auctions); 1 plexiglass strip - weight 5 x 20mm; Tape for inserting ribs along with dedicated eyelets; Soft hook-and-loop tape for sewing into the fabric; "Pears" finishing the lift cords; Universal mounting brackets for wall/ceiling (the number of brackets is shown in the table below); Universal mounting plugs size 8 x 50 (1 plug per mounting bracket; the type of plug sleeve may differ from the one shown in the photo). After purchase, please provide the desired mechanism width to be cut to and the side of the bead control in a message to the seller. Based on the mechanism available in this auction, you can sew a Roman blind with dimensions in the range: width 150.1 - 160 cm; height 150 - 180 cm. How to choose the mechanism width? Option 1 - mounting above the window recess: Width of recess + 10 to 20 cm; Height of recess + 20 cm (windows), +30 cm (balcony doors) [wall mounting]; Height from ceiling to windowsill [ceiling mounting]. Option 2 - mounting on the window sash: Width of glass + 5 cm; Height of glass + 5 cm. Technical data The mechanism is based on a rail made of high-quality aluminum powder-coated white. Factory-pressed hook-and-loop tape guarantees long-lasting adhesion to the rail. Thanks to the 1:4 gear ratio, operating the mechanism is smooth even with heavy curtain fabrics. The cord drum is screwed to the cassette, preventing it from shifting during blind use. Depending on the width, the mechanism is equipped with the appropriate number of lift cords. Each lift cord is 3 meters long. The control mechanism with a white bead, bead loop length 150 cm. Soft hook-and-loop tape 2 cm wide in quantity corresponding to the mechanism width. Transparent plastic ribs with a diameter of 4mm. Transparent plexiglass strip - weight 5 x 20 mm. The ribs and bottom plexiglass strip are 5-7mm shorter than the mechanism to facilitate mounting in the hemmed fabric. Tape for inserting ribs along with special dedicated eyelets that significantly simplify the sewing process and later assembly. Simply clip the eyelet into the tape loop, then thread the lift cords through the eyelets. The amount of tape corresponds to the number of ribs (e.g., 160 cm mechanism - 5 tape sections of 160 cm each). The number of eyelets corresponds to the number of lift cords x 5 (e.g., 160 cm mechanism - 4 lift cords x 5 = 20 eyelets). Universal wall/ceiling mounting brackets with universal mounting plugs size 8 x 50 (1 plug per bracket). Bottom "pears" to finish the lift cords.
