III Type of mounting and measurement Invasive mounting to wall or ceiling Blind width "A": Window recess width + 10 cm You specify the fabric width. We suggest it be wider than the window recess (wall opening) by 10 cm (5 cm on each side). If you want the blind to be wider or narrower than the suggested 10 cm, that is possible—it's a matter of personal preference (but it cannot be less than 2 cm on each side to prevent light from entering the room). Blind height "B": You specify the fabric height, i.e., the height from the mounting point to the lowered position (e.g., windowsill or floor). a) mounting the blind to the ceiling: height "B" is the height from the ceiling to the lowered blind position (e.g., windowsill or floor) b) mounting the blind to the wall: height "B" is the window recess height + space occupied by the stack* Space occupied by the stack = 7% of the blind height + 7 cm EXAMPLE: If the blind height is 200 cm, the space occupied by the stack is 21 cm. *the stack is the blind mechanism and rolled-up fabric Maximum height "B" is 230 cm Invasive mounting to the window frame Blind screwed to the window frame Width A Measure the width of the glass including glazing beads Height B Measure the height of the entire window sash Non-invasive mounting on the window Blind placed on the window frame using special hooks Width A Measure the width of the glass including glazing beads Height B Measure the height of the entire window sash The photo shows the stack, i.e., the blind mechanism with the raised fabric.
