“This lamp was such a surprise that I had to write a review. I bought it just to qualify for SMART delivery with no expectations and even thought it might not work at all. To my great surprise, it works really well. The light is average; it’s not a huge lamp that lights up the whole night, but it’s perfect for lighting a driveway section so it’s not completely dark. Moreover, it charges quite efficiently in the sun and the motion sensor activates it reliably. The manual said to store it indoors during winter – which makes no sense since it’s dark then, not like summer when it’s light until 9 PM. I hung it under the eaves and it survived the whole winter. After several cloudy days it stopped lighting, but once the sun came out for a few hours, the lamp revived. Considering its price, this product deserves a 5+ rating.”
