Description
Soy Wax for Free-Standing Molded Candles Kerasoy Pillar 4120 - 500g KeraSoy Pillar 4120 Soy Wax - 500 g Natural soy wax in pellets, specially designed for free-standing candles molded in forms. The hard, stable structure maintains the candle's shape, and low shrinkage facilitates easy removal from the mold. Convenient pellet form allows easy measuring and quick melting of the wax – suitable for both DIY home use and craft workshop environments. Why choose it? Hard structure – candles keep their shape and do not deform in the mold Low shrinkage and easy removal from silicone, metal, and plastic molds 100% plant-based composition – no paraffin, no GMOs, no animal-derived ingredients Wax labeled vegan – compliant with raw material producer classification Pellets – easy dosing and fast, even melting Product specifications Wax type: soy, natural (blend) Raw material code: KeraSoy Pillar 4120 Intended use: free-standing (pillar) candles molded in forms Form: pellets Net weight: 500 g Color: white / cream Melting temperature: approx. 60 °C Recommended heating temperature: 70-75 °C Recommended pouring temperature: approx. 60-65 °C Recommended fragrance load: up to 10% Curing time: min. 24-48 h before burning Features: vegan, paraffin-free, GMO-free, biodegradable Instructions for use Weigh pellets and melt in a water bath or wax melter, heating to 70-75 °C until fully dissolved. Cool the wax to a temperature close to the pouring temperature, then add fragrance oil (up to 10%) and dye, stirring gently – adjust the exact fragrance addition temperature according to the flash point of the chosen fragrance blend. Pour the wax into the prepared mold at approx. 60-65 °C. Fill the mold slowly to minimize air bubbles. Cure the candle at a stable room temperature, away from drafts, for at least 24-48 hours before first burning. Tips: Cool the candle slowly – this reduces the risk of sinkholes and uneven surfaces Always perform a wick test for the specific candle size and shape – wick selection depends on the mold diameter Natural white bloom (frosting) and minor discolorations are natural soy wax characteristics, not product defects What to avoid: Overheating the wax above the recommended temperature – may cause discoloration Using this wax for container candles in glass vessels – the wax shrinks and pulls away from the container walls Pouring at too high a temperature – may cause fragrance evaporation and surface defects FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions Is this wax suitable for container candles in glass jars? No. KeraSoy Pillar 4120 is designed for free-standing candles molded in forms. It shrinks during cooling, which makes it easy to remove from molds but causes it to pull away from container walls in poured candles. A different wax from the KeraSoy series is recommended for container candles. How much fragrance oil can I add? The raw material producer allows up to 10% fragrance load. The optimal amount should be determined experimentally – it depends on the specific fragrance blend, candle mold, and personal preferences. What causes the white bloom (frosting) on finished candles? Frosting is a crystallization phenomenon typical for natural soy waxes – it is not a product defect and does not affect burning. It can be minimized by slow cooling of the candle at a stable room temperature without drafts. Which wick should I use for candles made with this wax? Wick selection mainly depends on the diameter and shape of the mold as well as the fragrance and dye used. It is recommended to perform a burn test for your specific setup – both cotton and wooden wicks can be tested. Offer contents KeraSoy Pillar 4120 Soy Wax - 500 g (pellets), 1 package
