Ready to melt without additional modifiers, 1kg packaging. Why choose it? Hard, low shrinkage - candles easily release from molds and retain shape Smooth, aesthetic surface after setting, sharp edges in decorative molds Good fragrance retention - allowable fragrance load up to 10% of wax weight Pellets melt evenly and quickly, facilitating measurement Plant-based, vegan product (label on packaging) Product specification Wax type: soy Raw material code: Kerasoy Pillar 4120 Intended use: freestanding (pillar) candles, scented wax tablets Form: pellets Weight: 1kg Melting point: approx. 60°C Recommended melting temperature: 70-75°C Maximum melting temperature: 90°C (do not exceed) Recommended pouring temperature: 60-65°C Recommended fragrance load: up to 10% Color: creamy Instructions for use Weigh the required amount of wax and place it in a melting vessel. Melt in a water bath or wax melter, stirring, until 70-75°C. Remove wax from heat source. At the same temperature (approx. 70-75°C), add fragrance oil (up to 10%) and optionally dye. Stir for 1-2 minutes until ingredients combine. Wait until wax cools to 60-65°C and pour into a dry, clean silicone, plastic, or metal mold. Leave the candle to harden for at least 24 hours (preferably 48h) at a stable room temperature, away from drafts. Only then remove from the mold. Tips: For pillar candles, select wicks suitable for hard waxes, with diameter matched to candle size - a burn test is recommended. Molds and melting containers should be dry - water vapor damages the candle surface structure. What to avoid: Heating wax above 90°C - may cause discoloration and loss of wax properties. Using this wax for container candles in glass or jars - it is too hard, shrinks when cooling, and pulls away from container walls. FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions Is it suitable for container candles in glass or jars? No. Kerasoy Pillar 4120 is designed for freestanding molded candles. It shrinks during cooling and does not adhere to container walls. For container candles, choose soy wax type container. How much fragrance oil can I add? Recommended fragrance load is up to 10% of wax weight. What causes the white bloom (frosting) on finished candles? Frosting is a natural feature of soy waxes - fine crystals appearing on the candle surface with temperature changes. It is not a defect and does not affect burning quality. It can be minimized by slow, stable cooling of candles. How many candles can be made from 1 kg of wax? Depends on mold size and shape. From 1kg of wax you can make e.g. one large candle or several smaller ones - exact number depends on your design. Offer contents Soy wax Kerasoy Pillar 4120 in pellets - 1kg
