When switched on, two metal contacts extend from the spotlight and must touch the power conductors inside the track. Otherwise, the spotlight will not work.

✅ Also, the track is single-phase, meaning it is designed to work with one power conductor – all spotlights on the track will light simultaneously. It is not possible to switch on only some of the spotlights.
