HOW TO PROPERLY CLOSE THE PRESSURE COOKER? This pressure cooker closes from the inside, i.e. the lid is inserted at a 45-degree angle inside the pot. The lid is naturally curved to fit the pot shape more tightly. Then the upper bar is locked on the pot edges and sealed by moving the lever/handle in the opposite direction. A gasket is factory-installed inside the pressure cooker to prevent steam from escaping. Release the pressure cooker handle to the open position. Position the lid at a 45-degree angle to correctly place it inside the pot. Insert the entire lid inside, and place the bar under the handle on the pot edges so it locks. Make sure the bar is properly positioned on the pressure cooker edges. Move the lever in the opposite direction to securely close the pressure cooker. Now the pressure cooker is closed.
