❗️Package contains 5 seeds with sowing and further cultivation instructions❗️

Proud Viper's Bugloss is a magnificent plant, very rarely found in gardens, mostly only in botanical ones. It forms a spherical, rosette base composed of lanceolate, white-haired, veined leaves 15 – 25 cm long. From spring to summer, dense, cylindrical flower spikes up to 1.5 m long (under favorable conditions) appear, made up of navy-blue – purple, funnel-shaped flowers. The plant can grow up to 2 m tall (under favorable conditions). It is an extraordinary and very rare plant valued by beekeepers for its high pollen and nectar content.

Proud Viper's Bugloss originates from the Canary Islands; it is a beautiful plant resembling a tower of navy-blue – purple flowers. From the leaf rosette grows a stunning column of a thousand flowers, which can reach up to 30 cm thick. It grows best in full sun, in rather dry and not too moist soil. The plant can be grown indoors as well as outdoors (tolerates frost down to –5°C, requires winter covering).
