1. Preparation and installation

• Insert 2 new AA alkaline batteries into the controller.
• Plug the WiFi gateway into a power outlet inside your home (preferably in the room closest to the garden).
• Attach the controller vertically to the tap. Use the included inlet filter to protect valves from debris.

2. Connecting to the app (Tuya / Smart Life)

• Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app on your phone.
• Ensure Bluetooth and WiFi (2.4GHz) are enabled on your smartphone.
• In the app, first add the WiFi gateway, then follow instructions to pair it with the irrigation controller.

3. Setting watering schedules (Zones A, B, C, and D)

• Select the controller in the app. You will see four fully independent sections: Zone A, Zone B, Zone C, and Zone D.
• For each, set a separate schedule by choosing specific weekdays, start time, and watering duration.

Can it be powered by a gravity-fed barrel?

➡️ No, forced pressure is required to open the valve properly - water from a barrel alone (without a pump) will not suffice. The device requires pressure between 0.05 MPa and 0.8 MPa (0.5 to 8 bars).
