The manhole head is a key component of the well system designed to protect the water intake. It provides a hermetic seal, minimizing the risk of water contamination in the well from external factors such as atmospheric debris, groundwater, soil contaminants, and small animals. All these factors can degrade water quality and negatively affect the operation of the deep well. Our manhole head eliminates these risks.

The manhole head ensures a perfect seal for the deep well thanks to the use of appropriate materials.

✔️ Robust steel construction allows secure tightening of the clamping bolts. Our heads use class 8.8 bolts. These classes indicate the tensile strength of the bolts, which helps minimize installation issues such as bolt breakage or thread damage during assembly.

✔️ Steel flanges do not deform when tightening bolts - unlike plastic manhole heads.

✔️ Our heads feature protective caps on the nuts that additionally protect the threaded connections. Protecting the threaded connection is especially important against solid contaminants inside the well casing. Hex nuts reduce problems related to bolt thread damage or the need to clean the Allen bolt socket during head disassembly for maintenance.

✔️ The gasket used in this manhole head is designed to perfectly fit both the well pipe and the submersible pump delivery hose, ensuring a hermetic seal. Thanks to the proper sealing parameters, the head is firmly seated on the pipe – the gasket does not push the head off the well pipe when tightening the bolts.

✔️ The manhole head includes a cable gland for submersible pump cable diameter 6-12 mm. Our glands are equipped with a cable seal, and the seal under the gland securely protects the threaded connection.

✔️ The additional technical plug has an integrated sealing lip. The plug design prevents contaminants from entering. The plug can be unscrewed using a screwdriver, socket wrench, or by hand.

The plug provides access to the deep well without removing the manhole head.

How to select a manhole head for your well pipe?

1️ Measure the wall thickness of the well pipe with calipers.

2️ Measure the outer diameter of the well pipe (not on the socket) - this corresponds to the first dimension in the head size designation 110/32.

3️ Measure the outer diameter of the pump delivery hose. This corresponds to the second dimension of the head 110/32.

In this case, the 110/32 head fits a 110 mm well pipe and a 32 mm delivery hose.

Preparing the installation site:

✅Make sure the manhole head installation site is properly prepared:

✔️ Install the head on the pipe body - not on the socket. The well pipe socket must be carefully and evenly cut off.

✔️ Clean the well pipe from any debris and residues to ensure proper seating of the head.

Manhole head dimensions:

ØD1 - 110 mm – diameter matching the outer diameter of the well pipe.

ØD2 - 99 mm – diameter of the seal designed to fit inside the pipe with diameter D1.

H - 32 mm

IMPORTANT

The manhole head is compatible with blue well pipes according to PN-G-02323 standard - used in deep wells meeting pressure standards with appropriate wall thickness. The head is not compatible with sewer pipes.

The 110/32 head is not intended for DIN standard well pipes with an outer diameter of 115 mm. If you are unsure whether this head is ideal for your well - please leave a message to the seller.
