The water collector captures rainwater from the downpipe until the water level in the tank reaches the height where the collector is installed. Excess water flows further down the downpipe.

An additional short 1" garden hose and a spigot for tank installation are required. Hose and tank spigot are not included in the set.

SUMMER / WINTER FUNCTION - SIMPLE SWITCH BETWEEN SUMMER AND WINTER USE.

A) Detach the upper part of the water collector from the lower part and slide it upwards (1). Remove the lower part from the downpipe (2).

B) Remove leaves and larger debris collected in the filter. For thorough cleaning, the filter basket can also be removed.

C) Reattach the lower part, connect the upper and lower parts by turning the arrow on the upper part to the snowflake symbol - winter function. In this position, rainwater flows only through the downpipe to the drain. One plug closes the collector outlet, and the other opens the drain from the internal gutter so rainwater does not accumulate in the collector (all water flows down the downpipe).

Quick and easy installation — without removing the downpipe. Universal use for PVC and metal downpipes with diameters from 80 to 105 mm.

1. Mark the upper edge of the rainwater collector on the downpipe, 95 mm below the 2nd marking.

2. Cut (1) the downpipe at the marked points and carefully deburr (2) to maximize collection efficiency.

3b. Carefully trim (e.g. with a knife) the upper part of the collector (pre-perforated circles for diameters: 80, 87, 90, 100, 105 mm) to match the external diameter of the downpipe and slide it onto the upper downpipe.

4. Slide the lower part of the collector onto the lower downpipe (1). Press-fit the upper and lower parts of the rainwater collector together (2).

5. Done! The rainwater collector is ready for use immediately.
