“This is another solenoid valve of this type. I replace Gardena 24V solenoid valves one by one, which after a few years crack inside and leak slightly when closed. I have not observed this so far with Rain Bird valves, and I also blow them out with air after the season. The one I just purchased has an 80 Ohm coil, so the current drawn by the solenoid valve is higher than Gardena's, but the controller power supply handles it. I use DC power around 18V, everything works correctly. They fit as direct replacements for Gardena valves, have the same length, so they can be used in Gardena boxes, which have a very good exchange and bypass system. I recommend it.”

100-HV is a robust, durable, professional product from Rain Bird.
The solenoid valve can operate with water temperatures up to 43°C, pressure from 1.0 to 10.3 bar and flow rates between 0.05 and 6.83 m3/h. The valve body is made of glass fiber reinforced polypropylene, the very flexible diaphragm is made of Buna-N rubber, and its cleanliness is ensured by a 200 micron filter.
