The wellhead is a key component of the well system designed to secure the water intake. It provides a hermetic seal, minimizing the risk of water contamination in the well from external factors such as atmospheric debris, groundwater, soil pollutants, as well as small animals. All these factors can degrade water quality and negatively affect the operation of the deep well.
