The collector captures rainwater from the downpipe until the water in the tank reaches the level where the collector is installed. Excess water flows down the downpipe. The set includes mounting gaskets (except for the 90mm collector) and connectors for attaching the collector to the tank.

A short 1" garden hose is additionally required. Hose not included.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE COLLECTOR

You can easily fit the Marley rainwater collector onto the downpipe. Depending on the downpipe diameter, use the included gasket to fill the gap between the collector and the pipe.

Tip: Carefully removing sharp plastic or metal residues from the downpipe significantly improves collection efficiency.

Positioning the collector on the downpipe slightly below the upper edge of the rainwater tank ensures the overflow protection works. The collector first directs water to the tank. According to the principle of communicating vessels, once the tank is full, water flows down the downpipe.

The rainwater collector is connected to the tank with a 1" hose. This way, you get free "rainwater" for watering plants.
