Gunnii Eucalyptus, also known as “Tasmanian Eucalyptus”. This is the only frost-resistant Eucalyptus species that withstands temperatures down to –18°C. It is a very interesting and attractive plant. The main decorative feature of this species is the intense blue color of the leaves. It is an evergreen blue plant. The fragrant leaves contain essential oils that repel mosquitoes and flies.

Eucalyptus blooms very late, flowering from October to December, which is quite unusual. The small yellow-white flowers have remarkable pain-relieving properties (open flowers applied to wounds completely relieve pain). Under our conditions, Gunnii Eucalyptus grows up to 1.5 m tall and is an easy-to-grow plant with low soil and fertilization requirements, suitable for any gardening enthusiast. This Eucalyptus species is excellent as a background plant for other species or as a solitary plant, and can also be shaped into unique miniature Bonsai trees.
