Perennial clumping plant growing up to 40 cm tall. Leaves vary in shape and color, and its flowers have a beautiful fragrance. It can be grown in containers or in the ground. Hostas are especially cultivated for their spectacular leaves. 100% frost-resistant, ideal for our climate conditions. Hostas are incredibly resilient perennials that can be left unattended for many years. They are characterized by frost resistance. Available in many varieties, differing mainly in leaf size and color. All varieties require moist, fertile, humus-rich soil with a slightly acidic pH (in spring and summer it is good to add fertilizer). If the garden soil is sandy or too heavy and clayey, peat substrate should be added to improve its structure and chemical properties. Already planted hostas should be mulched with a 2-3 cm layer of compost. This will reduce moisture loss and provide nutrients to the soil.
